SATs results

Each spring, all of our Year 2 pupils take the Standard Assessment Tests (SATs) at the end of Key Stage 1 in the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science. English is broken down into ‘reading’ and ‘writing’. As recognised in our most recent ISI inspection report, “the results are far above the national average for maintained primary schools. This, together, with evidence seen during the inspection, shows that pupils are making excellent progress.”

The table below shows the latest available results, comparing Herne Hill School (HHS) 2017 results with the national results from 2016 (National). We expect updated National figures in January 2018. Please note, SPAG stands for Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar tests.
