Exceptional facilities ideally suited to young children’s development
We benefit from tucked away grounds and facilities which are ideally suited for young children’s development and conducive to their learning, with the enclosed environment providing a sense of security and the spaciousness enabling the children to grow and flourish. Two sites – one school
We operate out of two sites, which are only a 3-minute walk away from each other and are ideally suited for their respective age ranges. Our new ‘home from home’ premises at 99 Herne Hill cater exclusively for our youngest children (Kindergarten, 2+), whilst our deceptively large main site at 127 Herne Hill, situated behind St Paul’s Church, enables optimal learning and development in a larger setting for the Reception Cycle and Key Stage 1.
Kindergarten children get to periodically visit the woodland area at the main site and similarly all the children based at the main site have the opportunity to periodically play in the sand land at our Kindergarten site.

Top classrooms and ancillary spaces
In addition to new or recently refurbished classrooms which are expertly resourced for each year group, both sites also benefit from superb additional shared spaces which facilitate the pursuit of excellence with all of our specialisms.
From spring 2022, 99 Herne Hill will benefit from the addition of the ‘Bach’ building at the back of the property, offering additional tumble and arts space. This will be in addition to the stunning multi-use top floor, which is available for Key Stage 1 arts and project work.
At 127 Herne Hill, children also have access to our large performing arts studio, our cosy library and our multi-functional hall which is used for our lunches, PE and dance classes as well as for our school performances and assemblies.
Outstanding outdoor areas
Both sites benefit from exceptional outdoor areas. At 99 Herne Hill, the Kindergarten children can enjoy a large play garden with a fantastic ‘sand land’ and activity areas such as water play, mud kitchen and herb growing.
At 127 Herne Hill, our open playground and extensive woodland area provides nature-centric opportunities for outdoor learning and play that are unique for being in the middle of London.
